Restaurant Manager

About Us

We're a family-owned biodynamic winery in North Canterbury, 45 minutes north of Christchurch and have a 2 hat restaurant & cellar door open for lunch only, 5 days a week.  

We're looking for a new Restaurant Manager to manage our restaurant and small team. This role is for 4 or 5 days as week (your choice) and we are looking for someone committed for the next few years.

This opportunity is for someone who:

• Loves wine and food and wishes to learn more about organic and regenerative farming.

• Is looking for work/life balance running a day time restaurant.

• Is a natural leader who enjoys enthusing teams.

• Is a good communicator who can share knowledge with our guests and staff about our wines and food and farming philosophy.

• Has initiative and wishes to go the extra mile to serve great hospitality and experiences.

• Enjoys problem solving and looking for new systems and solutions.

• Is happy to work very occasionally on community evening functions.

• Likes to have fun and wishes to work in a rural setting.

• Cares about the planet and how our food is grown.

• Has good experience.

• In particular, is available and committed to manage the restaurant during the busy New Zealand summer.
