About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, passionate, hospitality professional to join our expanding Auckland On-Premise sales team.
You will be responsible for consolidating and growing existing customer account relationships and unlocking new business within Auckland’s highly competitive hospitality sector.
You will represent an award-winning portfolio which includes some of the finest names in the global drinks business. Brands and estates from the world’s great wine regions including super-classics from New Zealand; a select range of spirits and beer; and Spiegelau, one of the world’s leading premium hospitality glassware brands.
You will bring:
A proven track record within Auckland’s hospitality industry, supported by strong industry relationships and networks.
A genuine passion for wine and the ability to engage, educate and inspire our customers through compelling storytelling and product knowledge.
A confident and well-developed tasting palate, with the ability to evaluate and communicate wine styles and quality.
Hands-on service experience and knowledge across a broad range of beverage categories, including wine, spirits and beer.
Strong sales instincts, commercial acumen and a passion for driving business growth.
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivation and strong relationship-building skills.
High energy, initiative and professionalism.
The ability to work autonomously, effectively manage territory priorities and deliver results against agreed objectives.
What success looks like:
Achievement of territory KPIs and annual sales targets.
Growth in sales volume, revenue and profitability across your territory.
Increased distribution and visibility of On-Premise focused brands.
New business acquisition, customer retention and development.
Strong commercial execution.
Effective implementation of beverage list placements, feature promotions, staff education and tastings.
Strong collaboration with our sales, marketing and operations teams, as well as supplier partners on activations, time-in-trade and events.
Development of trusted customer relationships that position EuroVintage as a valued long-term supply partner within the hospitality trade.
