Vineyard Operator

Dog Point Vineyard is New Zealand's largest certified organic vineyard by Biogro NZ. We are family owned and one of the oldest privately established vineyards, located on the hill slopes of the Southern Valleys of Marlborough, New Zealand.

Dog Point Vineyard is more than just a vineyard. A key part of our organic philosophy is the biodiversity of the property, and so a large area of land at Dog Point is devoted to pasture, landscaped lawn and pond spaces, with native plantings and walkways. 

The opportunity has arisen for a Vineyard Operator to join our team based in Marlborough

Main aspects of the job require:

•  The operation of all vineyard machinery

• Being able to complete day-to-day vineyard maintenance

• Positive outlook and being able to work on your own and in a team environment

• Previous tractor experience advantageous

• A desire and passion for quality

• Confidence and ability with operating machinery, adhering to Worksafe requirements

• Growsafe and Approved Handler Certificates, desirable.

The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, be prepared to be involved at all levels, and be able to work extended hours when necessary.
Remuneration will be in accordance with experience and skill levels.

Applicants should be aware for the summer ahead there is no winery experience available with this role.
