Family owned, biodynamic winery Black Estate has a full time role – including waiting in our 2 hat winery restaurant and field work in our vineyards for 3 months up to and including harvest. Day time hours only.

Black Estate is a family-owned, biodynamic winery in North Canterbury. We own and manage three small biodynamic hillside vineyards, 45 minutes north of Christchurch.
We are looking for a person who enjoys wine and would like to work in our 2 Hat restaurant and cellar door, waiting tables and hosting wine tastings, and work in our vineyards over summer and in harvest. The role is full-time, day time hours and split between restaurant and vineyard.
We are a passionate team of people and have fun and beautiful places to work. We offer great training in the vineyard, winery and restaurant and good remuneration. We are looking for someone experienced in hospitality and who wants to learn about growing and making expressive wines.
North Canterbury is a small and exciting wine region with mainly small wineries making quality and focused wines. Located 45 minutes north of Christchurch city, you can live in Amberley or Waipara or we can support staff with car-pooling from Christchurch if you prefer to live in the city.
