About Churton

Churton is an iconic European style vineyard of 23ha on a farm of 52ha. We are certified Organic and run biodynamically for over 15 years. We produce our own wine and sell surplus fruit to a range of highly-respected wine companies. Our ethos is to be ecologically ethical business with absolute focus on quality to achieve the best from our great terroir. We are a family operation we love what we do and have fun whilst we work hard. 

The Job

We are looking for a skilled Vineyard Operator for the growing season and through vintage. You will have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the vineyard during the growing season, but will also follow the fruit through to the winery and be part of the winery team.

You will need to have good tractor driving experience and ideally have a Growsafe certificate. You will be involved in our spray application, under vine mangement programme, and canopy management as well as vine training and irrigation maintenance. You will also have the chance to learn and participate in our biodynamic activities.

Must have tractor driving experience.

Interest and/or experience in organic and biodynamic viticulture an advantage

Be highly practical and physically fit.

Be able to work flexible hours.

In exchange we will pay you well, give you a wine allowance and you will experience working in a family environment in one of the loveliest vineyards in Marlborough.
