Cellar Door Manager – Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about wine and wanting to further their career in the industry. Many of our cellar door managers have gone on to become winemakers, wine marketers and wine sales representatives.

We are looking for an outgoing person who loves wine, engaging with people, and ideally has some hospitality experience to manage our Cellar Door. Day shifts only.

The position involves being responsible for the smooth running of our Cellar Door while providing a high-quality customer experience. You will be giving professional wine tastings and managing rosters and bookings while being the welcoming face of Pegasus Bay to our wonderful customers.

Approx 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, five days, including weekends (Tues/Wed off)

Includes wine allowance and other perks.

Petrol allowance is available for CHCH-based applicants.

We are a family-owned and operated business 40 mins from CHCH in beautiful North Canterbury. The Cellar Door is a hugely important side of our operation and is the face of Pegasus Bay to many of our customers. We are a daytime operation and pride ourselves in giving friendly, down-to-earth service delivered in an informal but polished and professional style.
