Mount Riley Harvest Staff - Vintage 2024 

We are looking for Harvest staff to complement our permanent team and help us bring in the 2024 harvest. We are a small team in a family-owned and run business and enjoy producing a range of fantastic cool climate wines. As expected, long vintage hours are required, but we can provide a hot meal each day, help you with finding accommodation and be part of a great working environment. 

Vintage length will be around 6-8 weeks from early/mid-March until late-April/early-May, and in the peak of the season 12-hours a day, 7 days a week. 

We are looking for people who:   

• Are energetic, hardworking and keen and able to work either day or nightshift

• At least 1 - 2 previous vintages and winery experence or relevant tertiary qualification 

• Candidates with practical ability, good oral and written communication skills, a team player and good sense of humour

• Able to work 12-hour days, with a minimuim of 30 hours a week, increasing to 84 hours a week during the peak of harvest

• We are a small, hardworking and fun team, therefore vintage positions would ideally suit candidates with a passion to work in wine and who also work well under pressure and in a high-paced enviroment
