Vineyard Machinery Operator

Teece Family Vineyards is a unique 80 hectare rolling vineyard located at Spotswood, 9 kilometres north of Cheviot in North Canterbury producing premium wine for the Mt Beautiful brand.  

We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operator. Previous experience in operating over row machine harvesters and tractors, leaf pluckers and vine trimmers is highly desirable. 

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Tractor and machinery operations
• Spray applications
• Irrigation operations
• Hands-on vineyard maintenance
• Harvest operations

An HT license and holders of Growsafe or approved handler certificates would be an advantage, however, training will be provided by the company as required to the successful candidate. 

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate commitment to the vineyard and a willingness to be a team player, fit into a small team whilst displaying leadership, pride and care in their work. 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Teece Family Vineyards Operations Manager. A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the right applicants.
