Bell Hill Vineyard is a premium vineyard and winery based in North Canterbury, growing organically certified Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We have 3ha of high plant density vines on 63ha of land and are a small team focused on quality and attention to detail, requiring adaptivity, excellent thinking and problem-solving.

The Positions we are seeking to fill include:

Vineyard Assistant & Machinery Operator

This is a machinery role requiring machinery operation in the vineyard and would suit a person with an interest in learning about grape growing and viticulture. Opportunities for study are also available.

Vineyard Machinery Operation & Maintenance Manager

This is a hands-on management role which includes machinery operation and maintenance. We operate crawler tractors in the vineyard, a digger and other farm machinery on slopes. Activities include canopy spraying, cultivation/weed management, farming duties, and opportunities to grow crops under regenerative farming principles. Fencing and animal handling would be great skills to bring to the role. Experience is required in machinery maintenance, servicing and record keeping.
