We are seeking an experienced vineyard worker to lead our team in the role of Vineyard Foreperson. The role is based at our Leefield Station Vineyeard in the Waihopai Valley, 10 minutes out of Renwick.

About the role

Responsonsibilities will include, but not be limited to, assisting the management team in the following:

• Managing a variety of people throughout the vineyard
• Setting up systems and streamlining procedures for the day-to-day running of a vineyard
• Assisting with and carrying out on-site training
• Some day-to-day health and safety on site

This is a supporting role for our vineyard managers and would suit someone who is looking to further their career in the vineyard side of the wine industry.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

• Able to multi-task, with great time management skills
• Highly motivated to get the job done
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities and enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on their own
• Ability to think on their feet and act quickly
• NZ drivers license
• New Zealand residency

As a leader, you will ensure that all vineyard operations run smoothly and efficiently, as well as creating a rewarding team environment. You will love working outdoors with a motivated and highly productive team. You will lead by example, at all times displaying an appetite to improve your own skills whilst teaching others.

The remuneration package will reflect the experience and capabilityof the successful candidate and includes a wine allowance and a paid day off on your birthday. This role also comes with a vehicle.
