Our Blenheim winery, based in the Riverlands Estate is increasing its cellar team with a permanent position available. We are seeking an experienced person that is a positive, capable, and self-motivated individual to join our full-time permanent team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of Marlborough’s largest wineries. 

Key requirements:

• Must have a can-do attitude, be hard working and can thrive in a continuous improvement environment
• Team player with good communication skills and a safety mindset
• 2 +  vintages with further experience outside of vintage (wine)
• Ability to independently operate : centrifuge, decanter, dynamos, gas membrane, smart tanks
• Experience in performing cellar hand duties
• A good level of strength and fitness are important as these roles are physically active
• Ability to work weekends, afternoon, and night shifts, 12 hours per day, 6 days per week during extended period (vintage and blending period)
• Ability to lead a team during Vintage
• A full, clean Driver’s Licence is desirable
• An interest in wine and speaking more than one language would be advantageous
