Craggy Range is a leading family-owned New Zealand winery, established in 1999 and based in the beautiful region of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. We have a clear aspiration to sit alongside the great wineries of the world, and due to being supported by a 1000-year family trust, we have the time to achieve it.
We are advertising an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented graduate to join our Vineyard Cadet Program at our Martinborough Vineyards.
This role will be based at our established 250-hectare vineyards on Te Muna Road which is comprised of intensively managed, high density, super-premium sites with cool climate varieties of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling.
The aim of the cadet program is to select a recent graduate and give them broad industry experience to create an excellent foundation for their viticultural career. The 2 year program will include in-depth experience in practical viticultural operations, technical vineyard data collection, contract labour management, organic management and exposure the decision making processes in viticultural management. The program also includes a vintage in our Hawkes Bay winery.
The companies vineyard sites create an amazing opportunity to gain this experience across a wide range of soils types and grape varieties, all aiming at producing world class wines.
