Peregrine Wines is a well established, family-owned producer of premium wines in Central Otago. We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our winery team as Cellar Hand at our award-winning winery in Gibbston, with the additional opportunity to assist during the growing season in our organic Estate vineyards. This role extends until the conclusion of the 2023 harvest. The successful applicant will become an integral member of a progressive and motivated team.
Attention to detail and a focus on wine quality is essential, along with the ability to work in a tightknit team. Winery cellar hand tasks will include wine transfers, barrel management, forklifting barrels, tank cleaning and preparation of wines for bottling, while viticultural work will focus on vine husbandry tasks required during the growing season.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous winery experience
- Forklift experience
- Practical ability and willingness to learn
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a small team
Remuneration will be based on experience, and applicants must have the ability to work in New Zealand.
