The Coterie is a small batch, organic, family-owned winery based in Marlborough. We provide premium contract winemaking for several clients incorporating a wide range of varietals and wine styles. We strive to lift the quality of what we do through sustainable and holistic thinking and foster an environment that supports our clients to make their wines in their own style.

We are looking for an intelligent, energetic, self-motivated Cellar Hand with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail to join our small, highly motivated, and fun team. The role will involve all aspects of the winemaking process, including cellar work, vineyard work, lab analysis, as well as managing interns over vintage.

A minimum of two vintages experience and a tertiary qualification are essential. Supervisor experience would be an advantage and forklift experience is preferred. Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task are crucial. Applicants must be computer literate. You will be required to work additional hours over the vintage period.

Applicants with a penchant for organics, an environmentally friendly mindset, and a passion for making and drinking great wine would be valuable.
