About The Role

We have an opportunity for a Vineyard Machinery Operator to join our Hawkes Bay Vineyard team on a 12-month, fixed-term basis starting from September 2022. The role reports to the Assistant Vineyard Manager, you’ll support the seasonal demand of the vineyard and undertake all vineyard machinery operations including tractor operations and spray activities.  The role requires flexibility in the hours of work due to the nature of the duties.  Some weekend work will be required.

About You

The person fulfilling this role will demonstrate the following attributes and skills:

  • Previous experience operating vineyard machinery, particularly sprayers, is required
  • Vineyard operational experience
  • A team player with the ability to be part of a team of vineyard professionals and to work to meet common company goals
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A sense of humour
  • A current gro-safe certificate
  • A NZ Drivers Licence
