We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to join the Leadership & Communities team. This is a support role contributing to the successful running of some of our exciting initiatives and programmes.

About New Zealand Winegrowers

We are the small, but dynamic, national organisation for New Zealand’s grape growers and winemakers and support the $2.5 billion global success story that is the New Zealand wine industry - it’s an important role to play.

We are passionate about developing and recognising members of the wine industry with initiatives such as Young Viticulturist of the Year, Young Winemaker of the Year and Women in Wine.

What you will be doing

A great variety, including:

  • booking venues for events
  • collating applications
  • helping to secure sponsors
  • managing RSVPs
  • coordinating flights for members
  • capturing relevant media coverage
  • maintaining and updating social media pages, webpages and databases

This list is not exhaustive - being a support role, all of your tasks are based around what needs to be done to ensure our initiatives are a success.

What we are looking for

A passionate administrator who:

  • loves liaising with a variety of people
  • has excellent time management skills
  • is flexible
  • is confident when it comes to prioritising tasks, thrives on being organised and thinking ahead
  • enjoys celebrating the success of others

What we can offer you

We can offer you a competitive hourly rate, variety in your day and an industry that is exciting. The role is part time (18.75 hours per week) and can be conducted flexibly, but we do need someone who has some availability throughout Monday-Friday. Our offices are in Newmarket, Auckland, but we are open to this role being worked remotely.
