Invivo is looking for Cellar Hands to work at our busy Te Kauwhata winery. Invivo & Co is the home of multi award-winning brands, including the Graham Norton range and the outstanding Invivo X SJP Sauvignon. The winery produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Gris and Shiraz and is in the town of Te Kauwhata in the northern Waikato. Yes, the Waikato. You'll need to be willing to live here or commute from Hamilton or Auckland. 

We have been growing year-on-year since we started in 2008 and are now in need of some extra help to keep up the good work we've all been doing here.

Tasks undertaken include:

  • Tank and equipment cleaning
  • Wine additions
  • Tanker receivals and dispatches
  • Transfers and blending using pumps and other equipment
  • Filtration
  • Barrel work

We'd love it if you had winery cellar experience, but will take your circumstances into consideration.

The applicants should be careful, good problem-solvers, practical and pragmatic, have an eye for detail, a taste for good wine, punctual, nimble-minded and hardworking and all the other good things that make great Cellar Hands.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English are very important. Hopefully you can drive a forklift too.
