Are you an excellent multi-tasker and have a keen attention for detail? Wanting to get some experience in a key viticulture role, plus earn a competitive rate?

Harvest experience desirable but NOT necessary - training provided!

We are now looking for Viticulture Harvest Assistants to join us over 2022 Harvest in beautiful Marlborough, starting early/mid Febuary 2022.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the technical team with vineyard sampling/data collection.
  • Assist in intake of the grapes - bridging the gap between Vineyard and Winery

This is a fixed-term position for approximately 6-8 weeks, starting early/mid Feb. Hours will be up to 70 during this busy time – a great way to bank some $$ while you learn new skills!

We are looking for someone who is friendly and outgoing, who works well in a close team environment. Some harvest experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be computer literate (bonus if you love technology), with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to produce consistent and accurate results, in an organized manner. It is therefore important that you understand that depending on your employment arrangements with the employer there may be a period of time where you have no work or less work than you were expecting, and should have sufficient financial arrangements in place should this occur. Your actual start and finish dates may vary - if you have queries around this, check with your winery employer before booking airline tickets etc.
