Terra Sancta is an end-to-end wine producer, with a unique farming system, which includes no-till organic farming and the use of animals (baby doll sheep and chickens), our own winery on our Felton Road estate vineyard, and our own in-house bottling line, ensuring only the highest quality estate bottling. Terra Sancta also owns its own wine distribution business, CoLab Wine Merchants, ensuring the highest quality distribution and placement for our wines.
Our Wines (and other products)
Consistently ranked amongst the top of New Zealand wine producers, Terra Sancta has New Zealand's only “Super Classic” Rosé (Michael Copper) and has two “Classic” Pinot Noirs (Slapjack Block and Jackson's Block). Our Pinot Noris are regarded as amongst New Zealand's finest. Bob Campbell recently said it better than we could:
Home of the first vines planted in Bannockburn, Terra Sancta has four Bannockburn vineyards totalling 33 hectares of planted vines. 80% of the vines planted are Pinot Noir, with one hectare of Chardonnay, 1.8 hectares of Pinot Gris and 0.5 hectares of Riesling. Terra Sancta also has small plantings of Lagrein, Dolcetto and Barbera, making a unique red wine, "The Italian”.
