Company: Harvest Cidery (AB-Inbev NZ ltd)
Uploaded: 18 November 2021
Closes: 18 December 2021
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as Cidermaker or Assistant Cidermaker - dependent on experience. The right person will have a strong work ethic, the ability to produce quality results, top notch communication skills and be a strong team player.
It’s a hands-on role and a small team of 10, so from time-to-time you will be required to assist in other aspects of the business’s operations, if you are the right person you will welcome the challenge and variety. You will need to be able to drive a computer with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook a minimum.
Standard hours of work are 7am - 3.30 pm Mon-Friday, though flexibility is required at times, we do however maintain a strong commitment to work-life balance. As we produce year round we do not have a ‘Vintage period’ so work hours are consistent throughout the year.
The below experiences might give you the edge over others:
- Wine or Cidermaking experience
- Experience in cellar operations
- Experience in laboratory operations
- Tertiary qualification (in any field) or a proven academic performance
- Evidence of work ethic and aptitude
If you don’t have the above experiences but think this the sort of career you are looking for, we are able to provide a full training for the right person, with scope for ongoing training and career development. It is a salary position with remuneration set on experience and the level of responsibility you will be able to take on. We value our people and strive to provide them with what they need to perform.
I look forward to the chance to meet.
Only people eligible to work in this country should apply for this position. Please provide evidence of your work visa or citizenship.
