We have an opportunity for a Senior Vineyard Machinery Operator to join our small team based at the Grove Mill Vineyards, close to town in the Wairau Valley.

In this role you will report to the Wairau Vineyard Manager. Work will include all machinery operations, spraying, irrigation R&M and some general vineyard duties as required. You may be required to work extended hours depending on the season.

The successful applicant will need:

  • Practical experience from a viticulture or agricultural background.
  • Have the ability to operate and maintain tractors and implements.
  • Great attention to detail and pride in their work.
  • To be adaptable to change and be a team player.
  • To be able to work unsupervised.
  • To have excellent communication skills.
  • Valid New Zealand drivers Licence.Growsafe Certificate would be advantageous.
