Company: The Hawke's Bay Wine Company Ltd
Uploaded: 12 August 2021
Closes: 12 November 2021
The Hawke's Bay Wine Company needs your help.
We require experienced Winemaking and Cellar Staff for the 2022 Harvest to help us operate our winery.
The Hawke's Bay Wine Company is a custom crush facility based in urban Napier, making premium and ultra-premium wine for a range of clients, from the very largest wineries in New Zealand, through to many very small boutique producers. This mix ensures a constant variety of work and gives exposure to many different wines, wine styles and winemaking philosophies.
Our vintage generally runs from early-March to Late-April, although this varies depending on the season. We generally employ our Vintage Cellar Hands for a period of 10 weeks although, again, this may change depending on seasonal considerations. Shift work and long hours are required during the harvest period. Meals provided during the heart of Vintage and assistance with accommodation is possible as well.
We are looking to fill harvest positions for a fixed term. If you are interested - please send us a cover letter and your current CV outlining your relevant experience, via the apply button above.
Any international applicants will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Only people eligible to work in this country should apply for this position. Please provide evidence of your work visa or citizenship.

- Jobseekers should be aware that the start and finish dates of harvest work employment may change from those suggested by wineries at the time of your job offer. Vintage dates can not accurately be predicted.
It is therefore important that you understand that depending on your employment arrangements with the employer there may be a period of time where you have no work or less work than you were expecting, and should have sufficient financial arrangements in place should this occur. Your actual start and finish dates may vary - if you have queries around this, check with your winery employer before booking airline tickets etc.
