The Fermentist is a micro-brewery in Sydenham, with beer at our roots and sustainability in our hearts. Our mission is to bring people together over great beers and awesome food.

We are now looking for a Bar and Restaurant Manager in a newly-created role and will report to the Lion Hospitality team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Fermentist Bar and Restaurant Manager will ‘lead from the front’ at our unique taproom and café. Joining you will be a small but passionate team, ready to deliver a best-in-class experience that turns our guests into advocates and adorers of the Fermentist.

This role will suit a hospitality professional who can bring a balance of leadership on the floor as well as experience in key administrative duties. You’ll succeed with excellent communication skills to help drive and motivate your team to achieve in our goals and meet expectations.

By having a sense of social engagement, you will continue to bring our campaigns to life and establish our ongoing connection to the local community. You will become an integral and genuine pillar of the Fermentist venue and brewery.
