Grove Mill is a medium sized winery, crushing approximately 3,000 tonnes, and is located in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley. We are producers of premium, cool climate style wines including, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer.
We have over 200 hectares of grapes in the Marlborough area.
About the role
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Winemaker to join our talented team at our Grove Mill Winery in Marlborough. We bottle wine for all four wineries at Grove Mill so you will be involved in every step of the wine making process.
The successful applicant will need:
- Previous winemaking experience.
- Great attention to detail.
- To be able to think outside the square.
- To have excellent communication skills.
- A tertiary qualification in winemaking is required.
We are a BRC accredited winery, so experience with Food Safety requirements as well as experience in a bottling environment, would be advantageous. In this role, you will report to the Production Winemaker and work as part of a small experienced team.
