Vavasour is the founding winery of Marlborough’s most extreme appellation - the Awatere Valley. Internationally recognised for producing wines of extraordinary elegance, perfume and texture.
Vavasour is a medium-sized winery, crushing approximately 3,000 tonnes. We are producers of premium, cool climate style wines including, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Cellar Hand to join our small team.
The successful applicant will need:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Cellar Hand
- Great attention to detail and pride in their work.
- To be adaptable to change and be a team player
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work early and late shifts and longer hours during vintage
In this role you will report to the Assistant Winemaker.
